Nutrition Partners Inc. (NPI) was started in 2003 with the idea that there is a better way to service producers in Canada.  The name Nutrition Partners was created from the fundamental belief; that in order to be successful, we needed to become partners with our customers.  Bring on 2017 and that belief has not changed!  We view the employees at Nutrition Partners Inc. as crucial company assets.  It is often said, and with good reason, that it is with determination and dedication from the Nutrition Partners employees, that they serve their clients, generate long-term value for the company and contribute to the broader public.

One small way our like-minded team of individuals at Nutritional Partners Inc. (NPI) showed their dedication was to support a local family of Airdrie, by purchasing a week’s worth of food for this family of seven, including handpicked Christmas gift for each of the family members.

Each of Nutrition Partners Inc. business partners (HyLife, Poultry Health Services, Poultry Partners, AHPD & Nutri-Source) foster the same value and view it as our SECRET to SUCCESS!

HyLife Foods

HyLife Foods LP recognized for their work with newcomers to Canada

(News Release – From Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada – March 8, 2017—Ottawa, ON)

This selection was done by Deloitte and the CIBC. IRCC partners with Hire Immigrants Ottawa to recognize private businesses that support the successful labor market integration of newcomers in Canada.  Winning employers are chosen based on nominations from service provider organizations.

The dedication of HyLife Foods LP to recruiting and providing opportunities to newcomers to Canada – with more than half of its workforce consisting of immigrants – was highlighted by the Government of Canada.

The Neepawa, Manitoba business was congratulated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Ahmed Hussen as one of the winners of the 2017 Employer Awards for Newcomer Employment for their exemplary work to help newcomers to Canada find and retain jobs and enhance their employment skills.

I am beyond impressed by the initiative that HyLife Foods LP has taken in ensuring that such a significant portion of its workforce consists of immigrants. Companies like HyLife Foods LP are role models for others and show how important the role of employers are in the lives of newcomers.
The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship

Every year through these awards, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recognizes local businesses’ innovative efforts to improve the labor market attachment and integration of newcomers across Canada.  The winning organizations help reduce the barriers faced by newcomers in entering the labor market and improve their overall settlement in Canada.

HyLife Foods is honored to accept the Employer Award for Newcomer Employment as nominated by Neepawa Settlement Services. We accept this award on behalf of all of our employees and on behalf of the communities we work in. Being located in rural areas of western Canada we enjoy access to some of the best and brightest Canadians. We also have the opportunity to employ people at all levels from throughout the world. With the help of the Federal government including IRCC and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) as well as Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee program and the Settlement Services offices we have the privilege of walking alongside these newcomers as they become permanent residents and citizens. HyLife is excited to be a part of Canada-building as we continue to grow the diversity of our workforce, business, and communities.
Mr. Jeremy Janzen, Senior Director of Human Resources, HyLife Limited
